Getting to Apollo Bay and exploring surrounding townships

Apollo Bay is located approximately 2 hours 20 minutes from the city of Melbourne, and approximately 1 hour 45 minutes from the city of Geelong by car.

There are many world-class nature walks, and for adventurers, the Apollo Bay Visitor Information Centre is the starting point of the Great Ocean Walk, which takes its travellers through 91km of the rugged south west coast of Victoria. There are many sections of the walk that can be taken as a beautiful natural experience - best suited for moderately fit persons. Maits Rest provides a great option for prams an easy walking loop track.

There are many day trip and nature walk options for those wishing to take in the area's vast natural beauty including Lake Elizabeth, Cape Otway, Blanket Bay, Crayfish Bay and Johanna Beach. The Apollo Bay Visitor Information Centre is a useful visitors' portal and can provide advice on your options, depending on your interests.

Highly recommend! Great location!

“The property was fantastic. Two levels really suited having two families. The kitchen was well appointed, the house was clean, tidy and the beds super comfortable. Leanne was in touch immediately when power in town went out and kept us updated of its return which we really appreciated! Highly recommend and would love to return!”
